Are you a recent Business, Commerce, or Finance graduate looking for an opportunity to build a career in Private Equity, Investor Relations, and Capital Raising?
Our client, a growing Private Equity firm located near the Oakville/Burlington border, is looking for an ambitious Investor Relations & Business Development Associate to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional who wants to learn the business, build relationships with investment advisors, and develop toward a future role in Business Development and capital raising.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the firm's team and advisor network, gaining hands-on exposure to Private Equity funds, investor relations, fundraising, and business development.
Approximately 80% of the role will focus on managing and developing existing advisor relationships, with 20% focused on identifying new Exempt Market Dealers and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities include

• Managing relationships with advisors and capital partners
• Responding to inquiries regarding funds, portfolios, distributions, and transactions
• Educating advisors on the firm's funds and investment strategies
• Supporting investor communications and fund administration
• Maintaining accurate investor records and documentation
• Identifying and developing new advisor and distribution relationships
• Supporting the firm's capital-raising and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, personable, and comfortable building relationships
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Genuine interest in Private Equity, investments, and capital raising
• Ambitious and interested in developing a long-term career in Finance

Previous Private Equity experience is not required. We're looking for someone with the drive, personality, and curiosity to learn and grow.
