The Opportunity
:
As a frontline relationship owner, the Associate Account Director will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of institutional partners across one or more regions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will drive engagement, satisfaction, and adoption of ApplyBoard’s services. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring partner success, resolving issues, tracking performance, and supporting initiatives for revenue growth. This is a key role that requires excellent relationship management skills and a proactive approach to partnership success.
What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:
- Partner Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with institutional partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service and communication. Exhibit drive and grit to lead visibility in the market, building the ApplyBoard brand with trusted partnerships across all products and services.
- Engagement & Satisfaction: Drive improvements in retention, satisfaction, and engagement scores among managed accounts through personalized service and support.
- Adoption of Services: Promote the usage of ApplyBoard tools, services, and strategic programs within partner institutions to enhance their operational efficiency.
- Growth Initiatives: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing partner portfolios, collaborating with internal teams to maximize revenue potential.
- Issue Resolution: Address partner inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating risks when necessary to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Effectively leverage CRM to drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness and for tracking and reporting purposes
- Collaboration: Work closely with Destination teams and Regional Leaders to share supply-demand feedback and foster alignment across teams.
- Enrollment Monitoring: Collaborate with the Customer Experience Business Unit (CX BUO) to monitor weekly enrollment pipeline and application quality, utilizing reporting dashboards
- Strategic Insights: Leverage institutional performance insights to provide strategic referrals for enterprise partnership pursuits
What You Bring to the Table:
- 3+ years’ experience in account management, partnership development, or customer success, preferably in the education sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven ability to drive engagement and satisfaction, demonstrating a track record of achieving partner success metrics.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data analysis to track partner performance and derive insights (experience with [Hubspot] is a plus).
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across various functions.
- A customer-centric attitude with a passion for helping institutions enhance their services.
