Material Handler

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our client's Receiving Department. This temporary full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy active, hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you have strong attention to detail, experience with inventory handling, and enjoy working as part of a team, we want to hear from you!

• Pay Rate: $17.95/hour

• Location: North York, ON

• Shift: 4 Weekday Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and Sundays (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 3-Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Pick products from warehouse bins based on order requirements

• Scan inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse systems

• Place selected items onto carts for processing and distribution

• Accurately enter product information into the inventory management system

• Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items from order lists

• Verify product quantities and ensure order accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow company policies and warehouse safety procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous warehouse, receiving, order picking, packing, or inventory experience is considered an asset

• Comfortable using scanners and computer-based inventory systems

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a regular basis

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a warehouse environment

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
