Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead iOS Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performance iOS applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Core Data, MVVM, REST APIs, GraphQL, testing, performance optimization, and modern iOS development practices.
This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, backend, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable iOS applications.
- Develop modern user experiences using SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Build reactive application functionality using the Combine framework.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and third-party libraries.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code.
- Apply MVVM and other appropriate architectural patterns.
- Perform unit testing, UI testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks and memory-management issues.
- Develop and optimize multithreaded and asynchronous functionality.
- Implement animations, transitions, and engaging mobile experiences.
- Follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and current iOS development best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and automated application delivery.
- Manage and support App Store submission and release processes.
- Implement appropriate mobile application security practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development capabilities and tools as part of day-to-day software engineering activities.
- Stay current with new iOS frameworks, development practices, and platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Experience with the Combine framework.
- Strong understanding of Core Data.
- Experience with MVVM architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong unit-testing and UI-testing experience.
- Experience with XCTest.
- Understanding of iOS memory management and SwiftUI performance optimization.
- Experience with multithreaded programming and networking concepts.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Experience with App Store releases and submission processes.
- Understanding of mobile application security best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
- Familiarity with WatchKit and HealthKit.
- Experience with AVKit, video playback, and Google Cast.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
