Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Sales Analyst to join the Western Region Sales team.
The Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in achieving ALC's sales vision by providing comprehensive administrative, analytical, and data management support to ensure the sales team operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is a key liaison, connecting Sales, Finance, and Marketing. Primary responsibilities include maintaining data accuracy, ensuring pricing compliance, generating performance reports, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze sales reports : monitor sales progress, record information and use relevant software to produce detailed analysis and sales reports. Interpret reports and make recommendations as business progresses and raise unprofitable activities. Collaborate in the annual budget preparation process.
- Manage agreements, prepare bids and proposals : monitor and manage agreements by updating the list of agreements and monitoring deadlines. Produce lists for sales teams highlighting risky agreements (whose expiry date is running out) and agreements to be renegotiated. Write quotes and proposals for account managers and clients. Provide advice as needed and monitor commitments made to clients. Evaluate deadlines for submitting and relaunching proposals.
- Reviews and increases prices : participate in the preparation of the price increase program, ensure the program is followed using relevant tools, and organize the communication of price increases to customers and account managers.
- Compliance and process improvement : support account managers through training and coaching on various tools (Sales Force, airliquide.ca, etc.), ensure the correct application of procedures, work with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve work processes, analyze activity, identify causes of dysfunction, propose corrective measures, and suggest new methods and tools to improve follow‑ups of the sales team's action plans.
- Financial & Pricing Management : manage and process pricing requests, ensuring adherence to established company guidelines and margin targets; coordinate the annual entry and tracking of Purchase Orders into the financial system to ensure accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.
- Reporting & Analytics : prepare and distribute accurate reports tailored for the District Manager, provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health and strategic business trends; conduct ad‑hoc and routine analysis of sales data to identify areas for efficiency improvement, revenue opportunity and operational bottlenecks (duplicate statement removed).
- Sales Data & Process Integrity : maintain the integrity of data within the CRM (Salesforce) system, ensuring alignment with EOM reporting metrics; troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies; oversee the process for new account creation, ensuring validation, data entry and timely assignment to the appropriate Account Executive; execute regular data quality initiatives, including auditing and cleansing outdated, duplicate or inaccurate customer records.
- Strategic & Retention Support : collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to identify and segment target lists for new business campaigns based on analytical criteria; assist in analyzing customer churn data, identify root causes and provide actionable feedback to improve retention strategies.
- Quality / Safety : actively promote ALC's safety and quality objectives.
Qualifications
Diploma : College diploma or degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or any other relevant discipline.Experience : 2 years of relevant experience.Knowledge : Oracle OBIEE, SAP (or other ERP), Power BI, Salesforce (or other CRM).
