Supervisor, Tooling

Description

:

• Lead and continuously improve Finning Canada's tooling strategy, programs, and processes.
• Oversee Tool Hub operations, tooling deployment, asset management, inventory control, calibration, and repair programs.
• Ensure tooling resources are available, properly maintained, and aligned with operational requirements across the business.
• Drive standardization, consistency, and best practices for tooling operations nationwide.
• Partner with technicians, supervisors, branch leaders, vendors, and OEM partners to improve safety, productivity, and technician effectiveness.
• Lead the implementation and adoption of tooling technologies and digital solutions.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and business results.
• Develop team capability, drive accountability, and support organizational change initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a technical, business, operations, supply chain, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Several years of experience in tooling, maintenance, service operations, asset management, heavy equipment, industrial operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams, projects, programs, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, asset lifecycle management, maintenance practices, and operational processes.
• Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption of new systems and technologies.
