We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities while contributing to a strong, close-knit crew environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Good understanding of pipe handling, tripping operations, and drilling equipment.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the direction of the Driller.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.

  • Valid driver's licence.

  • Current safety certifications such as H2S, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Space are considered an asset.

Safety & Environmental Commitment

As a Derrickhand, you are expected to lead by example and maintain a strong safety mindset in every aspect of your work. This includes following job safety analyses, hazard assessments, lockout/tagout procedures, working-at-heights requirements, permit requirements, spill prevention practices, and emergency response procedures.

Working in and around the derrick requires constant attention to detail, communication, and awareness of your surroundings. You are expected to identify hazards, speak up when something isn't right, and look out for the safety of your fellow crew members.

Work smart. Work safe. Look out for your crew.
