Every day, you guide clients with mortgage strategies tailored to their unique situation and collaborate with specialized partners to deliver solutions that address their full range of financial needs.You play a key role in growing our market share by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with existing, referred, and newly acquired clients through your business development efforts.
Your role
- Identify client needs and recommend the most appropriate mortgage strategies.
- Provide a comprehensive client experience by referring clients to specialized advisory centre teams based on their needs (insurance, banking services, investments, etc.).
- Grow and retain National Bank’s client base by delivering a distinctive advisory experience.
- Apply processes rigorously and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Compensation and benefits
Your compensation package includes:
- A $37,000 annual base salary.
- Unlimited commissions directly linked to your performance.
- An annual bonus based on your results and your collaboration with your team and partners.

You will be part of a branch-based team, supported by a Residential Financing Manager who is committed to your development and success.

Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Ability to take a holistic, end-to-end approach to understanding clients’ financial needs and goals.
- Foundational knowledge of financing products and services, combined with a strong interest in developing and expanding that expertise.
- Strong professional rigor, both from a technical standpoint and in the quality of client service and follow-up.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to effectively manage a territory, priorities, and day-to-day activities.
