Payroll Manager

About the Opportunity

• Own end-to-end multi-state and multi-province payroll processing, including salaries, hourly wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and all new hire, termination, and compensation changes
• Oversee payroll tax filings and statutory compliance on both sides of the border, from federal and state filings and year-end forms in the U.S. to CRA remittances and year-end slips in Canada, while managing garnishments and responding to audits
• Lead payroll system and vendor relationships, including implementations, upgrades, and provider migrations, while reconciling payroll to the general ledger and delivering reporting and analytics to Finance, HR, and leadership

About You

• An experienced payroll leader with a track record managing both U.S. and Canadian payroll, including multi-state and multi-province complexity
• Strong working knowledge of cross-border compliance requirements, from wage and hour law to benefits and statutory reporting obligations in both countries
• Comfortable owning payroll data end to end, from reconciliation and reporting through system migrations, with the judgment to flag risk and drive process improvement rather than just execute

Pay Range

$120,000 - $130,000 per year
