One of Canada’s Most Trusted Investment Brands.

At Picton Mahoney Asset Management (PICTON Investments), being alternative isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are.

Founded by industry pioneer David Picton, we’ve spent 20 years challenging conventional wisdom and redefining the investing landscape. As one of Canada’s most trusted investment brands, we are proudly independent, privately run, 100% employee-owned, and deeply committed to delivering results for our clients.

Thinking Alternatives is in Our DNA.

With a team of 241 bold thinkers, one-third dedicated solely to investment management, we are specialists, not generalists. Managing $19.3 billion (as of June 30, 2026) for institutional and retail clients, we navigate markets with conviction, resilience, and a forward-thinking approach.

We’re more than investors we’re innovators. We challenge traditional investment mindsets, constantly pushing the boundaries to achieve our mission: To bring greater certainty to investors.

Our success is built on four guiding principles:

  • Treat investors’ money like our own.
  • Redefine the way investors invest.
  • Be human, always approachable.
  • Succeed together, one investment at a time.

These aren’t just words. They define how we think, how we invest, and how we work.

Now, we’re entering our next chapter. We’re transforming our brand and reshaping the way the world invests. If you think alternatively, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in a dynamic, bureaucracy-free environment, join us and be part of what’s next.

Thriving in Our Entrepreneurial Culture

At PICTON Investments, you’ll thrive in our creative and dynamic workplace, where collaboration and support are at the core of everything we do. At our firm, you’ll have the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, work in a flexible environment, and tackle challenging projects from the outset. Our culture is designed for ambitious professionals who want to make an immediate impact while continuing to push boundaries and achieve our greater mission. You’ll be empowered with a high level of responsibility, trust, and flexibility, providing an exciting and creative space for you to help reshape how the world views alternative investments. With competitive total rewards, performance-based bonuses, and a clear path for career growth, you’ll have everything you need to develop both now and over the longer term.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic and content-driven Senior Manager, Education to lead the evolution of PICTON Learn into the industry's leading destination for alternative investment education.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Brand Marketing, this role will own the strategy, development, and promotion of educational content for financial advisors and investors across PICTON Learn, our website, social media, email, and other digital channels. Working closely with investment professionals, product specialists, compliance, and creative partners, you’ll transform complex investment concepts into engaging learning experiences that educate, build trust, and support business growth.

This role combines content strategy, curriculum development, instructional design, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate understands advisor education, has experience developing Continuing Education (CE) accredited programs, and is passionate about making sophisticated investment topics accessible through compelling written, visual, and video content. If you’re excited about building a best-in-class education platform that positions PICTON as the authoritative voice on alternative investing, we’d love to hear from you.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 with final base salary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation, including participation in the Company’s discretionary bonus program, subject to applicable plan terms.

At PICTON Investments, being employee-owned means we take care of our team and offer opportunities for top performers to participate in our equity ownership program over time. Eligible employees get access to a full benefits package, including profit sharing, health and wellness coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off and holidays, learning and development programs, and more, many of which are fully covered or subsidized by us.

Responsibilities of the Role

Education Strategy & PICTON Learn

  • Lead the strategy and evolution of PICTON Learn, developing a comprehensive education roadmap and curriculum aligned with business priorities and advisor needs.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and create educational content that helps advisors and investors better understand alternative investments, portfolio construction, and market trends.
  • Develop learning journeys that support advisors and investors across every stage of the customer lifecycle – from awareness through consideration and ongoing engagement.
  • Partner with Investments, Product, Sales, and Compliance to ensure educational content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the creation of educational content across multiple formats, including CE-accredited courses, articles, guides, videos, infographics, webinars, interactive tools, and downloadable resources.
  • Translate complex investment concepts into engaging, accessible content tailored for both advisor and investor audiences.
  • Build a scalable content library that supports both evergreen education and timely market commentary.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts and external partners to produce high-quality educational experiences that reinforce PICTON's thought leadership.

Content Distribution & Customer Journey

  • Develop integrated promotion strategies that maximize the reach and impact of PICTON Learn content across social media, email, website, and digital campaigns.
  • Create nurture and drip campaigns that deliver relevant educational content throughout the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the social media lead to repurpose educational content into engaging social-first formats.
  • Optimize content discoverability through SEO best practices and digital content optimization.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define KPIs for educational engagement, learning completion, and content effectiveness.
  • Monitor performance and learner behaviour to continuously refine the education strategy and improve the user experience.
  • Stay current on advisor education trends, adult learning best practices, AI-enabled content development, and evolving digital learning technologies.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, content development, and learning experience design.

What You Bring

  • 7–10 years of experience in content strategy, education marketing, learning and development, or content marketing within financial services, asset management, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and advisor education requirements.
  • Experience developing Continuing Education (CE) accredited learning programs for financial professionals.
  • Proven ability to create engaging educational content across written, visual, video, and digital formats.
  • Experience developing customer journey and nurture content strategies across web, email, and social channels.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning best practices.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Familiarity with SEO, content analytics, and digital content optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to improve content development and production.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally with subject matter experts and compliance teams.
  • Highly collaborative, innovative, and passionate about creating educational experiences that build trust and deliver measurable business impact.

At PICTON Investments, we take pride in enhancing our employees' experiences through a comprehensive suite of exceptional perks and programs. Our benefits include corporate fitness reimbursement and discounts, VersaFi memberships (formerly Women in Capital Markets), PICTON Investment Counseling and portfolio management services, volunteer and charitable donation matching, maternity and parental leave top-up, recognition awards, semi-annual performance bonuses, a generous annual vacation entitlement (minimum of 15 days per year), training and development reimbursement, extensive health and dental benefits, a healthcare spending account, and more.
