This role is pivotal in maintaining the pace of the marketing function, which is involved in a variety of activities including product launches, field events, partner campaigns, and demand programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operating rhythm and planning, driving budget and headcount planning, and ensuring that the marketing team's priorities are executed effectively. A key aspect of the role is to be the connective tissue with the rest of the company, representing marketing in cross-functional planning and holding the marketing org accountable to its commitments. The ideal candidate will have a background in a fast, high-output B2B marketing environment, with a strong understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing. Applicants for the Marketing Chief of Staff position at the company should have at least 10 years of operating experience, with a focus on B2B marketing. The role requires a practitioner-level understanding of marketing, particularly in the areas of demand generation and account-based marketing. The candidate should be comfortable with marketing and pipeline metrics, and have a proven track record of bringing order to a complex, fast-paced organization.
