Seeking an Executive Director with strong operations leadership experience in hospitality. You'll oversee general management of our retirement residence, delivering a superior "More Living" experience to residents. As the Executive Director, you'll lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development. Your expertise in recruiting, training, and mentoring will ensure exceptional service and resident care.

As the operations strategist, you'll efficiently manage all department operations, ensuring smooth functioning, strict compliance with collective agreements, and optimized fiscal resource allocation. You'll implement and maintain policies to uphold industry standards and regulations while achieving financial targets with maximum operational efficiency.

As the sales champion, you will create a focus on sales and occupancy, ensuring the team collaborates to meet and exceed occupancy targets. You will actively promote the residence within the local market ensuring a multi-pronged approach that showcases the residence as the top choice in retirement living.

As the financial performance expert, you'll set and monitor targets for employee engagement, resident satisfaction, audits, occupancy rates, and net operating profit. Your strategies will help us surpass targets.

As the customer service advocate, you'll build strong relationships with employees, residents, and their families, fostering open communication and continuous improvement. Seeking feedback from stakeholders, you'll identify areas for enhancement and implement strategies to achieve our goals. Your positive relationships with regional teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies will reflect our organization's professionalism and integrity.

Your experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience, preferably in the seniors living industry, hotel, or hospitality-related industry;

  • Experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a unionized environment;

  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends as required);

  • Strong understanding of business planning and processes;

  • Proven track record of achieving marketing, sales, and financial goals;

  • Must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) within the last six months or be willing to obtain one.

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
