We are currently looking for a Sr. Analyst Talent Mobility to join our team in Mississauga ON.

A Day in the Life:

Job Profile Summary

Leads and executes key components of the Americas Talent Mobility and Work Authorization programs with a primary focus on supporting employees requiring legal authorization to work in the United States including Japanese inbound populations. Acts as a central liaison across employees managers HR Business Partners Talent Acquisition and external legal counsel to ensure compliant timely and highquality immigration and mobility outcomes.

This role also drives process transformation efforts including standardization across the Americas transition of services to the HR Service Center and digitalization of Mobility processes. Maintains oversight of vendor performance financial governance and policy application while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency reduce risk and enhance the employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

Work Authorization & Immigration Leadership
Serve as the primary owner of U.S. work authorization and immigration processes ensuring compliance with applicable laws policies and timelines. Act as the key liaison between employees managers HRBPs Talent Acquisition and external legal counsel.

Japanese Talent Mobility Standardization
Review and assess current processes for incoming Japanese talent and develop recommendations to streamline and standardize execution across the Americas region.

Service Delivery Transition & HR Service Center Integration
Build and execute transition plans to move defined Talent Mobility and Work Authorization activities to the HR Service Center including scope definition process documentation timelines and success metrics.

Escalation Management & Tiered Support Model
Serve as the escalation point for complex or highrisk Japanese inbound mobility and immigration cases beyond the HR Service Center ensuring appropriate resolution and risk mitigation.

Vendor Management & Governance
Manage external mobility immigration and tax vendors; define and align roles and responsibilities monitor performance and drive continuous improvement to ensure service quality and compliance.

Digitalization & Self-Service Enablement
Lead efforts to modernize processes through development of knowledge articles standardized documentation and selfservice solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.

Cross-Regional Partnership & Alignment
Partner with global and regional stakeholders (Japan Americas HRBPs COEs) to clarify roles and responsibilities and ensure effective collaboration and handoffs across regions.

Financial Management & Budget Oversight
Manage financial components of the program including budget planning forecasting vendor payments and tracking overall spend to strengthen cost transparency and governance.

Continuous Improvement & Program Optimization
Analyze data trends and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to enhance policy application reduce complexity and improve overall service delivery.

Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across regions and cultures

Experience in process improvement service delivery models and operational transformation

Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Experience working with vendors and managing performance outcomes

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources Talent Mobility Immigration or related field

Experience working in global or cross-regional environments preferred

Demonstrated experience managing vendors budgets or program operations

Education:

Bachelors degree from an accredited university.


Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)

Experience with HR systems case management tools and procurement platforms (e.g. ARIBA) preferred

Language Requirements

  • Required: Fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
  • Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese

Salary Range:

$91573.00 - $119436.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employees base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level in recognition of the employees unique skills work experience education work location or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus benefits and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
