What Youll Be Doing

CIBCs Global Markets business focuses on delivering expert financial and economic analysis and savvy deal-making capabilitiesto clients in Canada and around the world. The Global Markets team supports foreign exchange commodities fixed income derivatives equities and growth markets and is focused on building a strong innovative relationship-oriented bank.

Within the Global Markets division the Wealth Solutions Group is responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of investment products to CIBC clients from Canadian Banking to Private Wealth Wood Gundy Investment Advisors Investors Edge and third-party clients. The Wealth Solutions Product Engineering team leverages advanced analytics and technology to tackle meaningful challenges and create innovative solutions across Structured Notes/MLGICs Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs) Bonds Foreign Exchange (FX) and Precious Metals. Youll collaborate closely with Sales Trading Technology and Operations teams to deliver investment solutions reliable platforms and tools for both clients and internal partners. The expected annualized base salary for this role is $95000.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors including the candidates skills experience and job-related knowledge as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay compensation for this roleincludes participation in an annual discretionary incentive orbonus program.

How Youll Succeed

• Product Launch Execution Participate in the full lifecycle of product launches collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

• Platform Optimization Assist with the management and enhancement of online platforms that support our product suite.

• Workflow Tool Development Design and build impactful workflow tools and core infrastructure for Wealth Solutions teams creating scalable intuitive solutions to boost efficiency and business performance.

• Data Analytics Application Apply data analytics to understand client behavior inform product offerings and drive profitability.

• Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environment Manage a high volume of work and shifting priorities thriving in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Who You Are

• You have an undergraduate degree in Engineering Computer Science or Math.

• You have 13 years of relevant experience (including co-op placements) working in a financial institution.

• Youre detail-oriented and solutions-focused. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for breaking down complex processes to find effective solutions.

• Youre proactive and eager to learn. You take initiative to learn and share insights with your team contributing to continuous improvement.

• Youre a strong communicator. You communicate ideas clearly and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Youre technically proficient. You have experience with Python SQL VBA and/or big data management. Experience with Agentic AI is a plus.

• You manage priorities efficiently. Youre able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
