Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly experienced Senior SAP HANA Database Administrator (DBA) to join a dynamic technology team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in SAP HANA environments, database administration, and large-scale system transformations, including S/4HANA migrations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, stability, and security of enterprise database systems while supporting major implementation and infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities:
SAP HANA Administration
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize SAP HANA database environments
  • Perform system upgrades, migrations, and refresh activities, including SAP S/4HANA migrations
  • Maintain high availability through HANA replication and disaster recovery strategies
Performance & System Optimization
  • Monitor system performance and conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Utilize tools such as HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, and monitoring platforms
  • Ensure optimal database performance, reliability, and scalability
Infrastructure & Technical Support
  • Administer HANA databases on Linux/Unix platforms
  • Support system architecture related to networking, storage, and backup/recovery processes
  • Manage SLT replication and data integration processes
Project & Implementation Support
  • Participate in SAP implementations, system transformations, and infrastructure design projects
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver robust and scalable database solutions
  • Provide technical expertise during project planning and execution phases
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP HANA Database Administrator
  • Valid SAP HANA Administrator Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience with:
    • HANA upgrades, migrations, and refreshes
    • SAP S/4HANA migrations
    • HANA replication and disaster recovery
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, and monitoring tools
    • SLT replication
  • Solid expertise in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage systems, and backup/recovery strategies
  • Minimum 2 years of SAP implementation or transformation experience
  • Experience designing SAP infrastructure architectures
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manage complex systems in high-demand environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on system performance and reliability
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
