Your key responsibilities will include
- Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for digital products and experiences, including user interfaces, buttons, menus, microcopy, and error messages.
- Partner closely with UX designers to support wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups with clear and intentional language.
- Ensure all UX copy aligns with YuJas tone, voice, and accessibility standards.
- Create low-to-high fidelity wireframes and user flows that map out intuitive journeys for complex EdTech workflows.
- Go beyond text updates by designing and documenting reusable UI components and patterns within Figma to ensure visual consistency.
- Support the creation and refinement of wireframes and low- to mid-fidelity prototypes to validate content and layout decisions early in the design process.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and ensure that content meets user needs and expectations.
- Simplify complex concepts and workflows into intuitive, user-friendly language for diverse user roles (admins, instructors, students, enterprise users).
- Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that content is integrated seamlessly into the overall user experience.
- Ensure all UI text meets accessibility standards (WCAG), focusing on screen-reader compatibility and inclusive language.
- Continuously iterate and improve content based on user feedback, analytics, and industry best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in UX writing and content design and share knowledge and insights with the broader team.
- Develop and maintain text system guides to ensure consistent language and tone across the product.
- Assist the team by creating Figma mockups related to design system updates and support designers with adjustments based on stakeholder feedback.
- Review engineering implementations to ensure text follows usability standards and aligns with the design system.
About You
A degree in English, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field is an asset.1-2 years of experience as a UX Writer, or similar role within a SaaS or product-driven environment.Strong understanding of UX writing principles, usability, and content hierarchy.Hands-on experience with Figma is highly preferred.Familiarity with accessibility best practices and writing inclusive, accessible content.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple initiatives, accept feedback, and iterate quickly.Experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suites) and product workflows is an asset.An eagle eye for grammar and consistency, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience collaborating with designers and engineers in an agile or fast-paced product environment.Why Youll Love Working Here

This is an office-based role with standard hours from Monday to Friday.
