Job Title: Packager
Job Description
The Packager works on a high-speed production line, pulling cans from the line, sorting them into trays, and stacking those trays onto skids. This role supports efficient packaging operations in a beverage filling and packing facility and requires consistent attention to detail, safe handling of products up to 25 lbs, and strong English comprehension to follow instructions and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Pull cans off the production line and sort them accurately into trays.
- Stack filled trays onto skids, safely lifting and moving items up to 25 lbs.
- Perform palletizing activities to prepare finished product for storage and shipment.
- Follow established packaging and general labor procedures to maintain production flow.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times, including proper use of required protective coverings and compliance with facility rules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP standards.
- Work effectively on a packaging line, coordinating tasks with team members to meet production targets.
- Monitor product and packaging for visible defects and report any issues to appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use equipment and materials in a safe and responsible manner.
Essential Skills
- Experience with packing and picking in a production or warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience stacking trays on skids and palletizing finished goods.
- Ability to lift and handle items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Strong English comprehension to read, understand, and follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Comfort working on a fast-paced packaging line.
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) consistently.
- Ability to work at minimum for a one-month assignment, with potential for longer based on business needs.

Work Environment
This role is based in a beverage filling and packing facility that is well lit and temperature controlled, providing a comfortable and consistent work setting. It is a GMP manufacturing environment, requiring hairnets, beard coverings where applicable, and no jewelry to maintain strict hygiene standards. Both day and night shifts are available, with typical night shifts running Monday through Thursday and day shifts running approximately 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM. Each shift includes one unpaid lunch and a paid 15-minute break. Work is performed on and around a packaging line, with regular lifting of up to 25 lbs and frequent stacking and palletizing tasks. Attire must comply with GMP requirements and facility rules, including the use of provided protective coverings.
