Business Group

Canadian Banking Engineering – Product Onboarding - Team is focused on product onboarding

Responsibilities

  • Full stack role – 50%, 50%
  • Planning and executing to meet sprint objectives as well as program / project milestones as a member of the scrum team.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Create and maintain software documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum team to plan milestones, successfully execute software delivery, and escape issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a full-stack developer.
  • 2+ years' experience working with MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stack in a professional environment (Canada or equivalent).
  • 2+ years' of unit testing experience with both frontend and backend code.
  • 2+ years of experience working with microservice architecture.
  • 2+ years' experience working in Agile / Scrum framework.
  • Experience working with monorepo architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Gitflow branching strategy.
  • Experience working with Trunk based branching strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence decision making across stakeholders.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in computer science, engineering.
  • Canadian bootcamp experience an asset.
  • A Scrum certification would be an asset.
