Systems Architect

As our Systems Architect you will:

• Develop and support interoperability designs and middleware programming between systems and technologies in Smart buildings
• Work as part of a team to create accurate designs that meet the customer's functional, technical and budgetary requirements
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) based on design and source equipment from relevant manufacturers
• Create Engineering design packages in support of both existing and preliminary work
• Determine the requirements for control systems programs and their integration
• Define functional workflow requirements for programmers to support development and connections
• Work collaboratively with the Technology team

Our ideal candidate has:

• A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience focused on solutions management
• Computer Science or Engineering post-secondary education or related work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development and programming languages as applicable to middleware
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Auto CAD programs
• Proven ability to think critically while working with incomplete information to develop innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
