Role Overview

We’re hiring an AI Automation & Voice Agent Developer who can develop, maintain, and optimize our AI receptionist workflows.

You will work directly with Dr. Romik to :

• Improve our multi-state AI receptionist logic
• Integrate Retell AI with Zoho CRM
• Build automations using Make.com or n8n
• Connect booking tools, calendars, SMS systems, and patient flows
• Ensure compliance with RCDSO & PHIPA requirements
• Support partner clinics in implementing their own version of the AI receptionist

This role is perfect for someone who understands no-code / low-code automation, voice AI tools, and wants to work in a growing healthcare tech environment.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills Frontend (Mobile & Web) : 2+ years of experience with React Native (Expo Managed Workflow) Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript Experience deploying apps on Android & iOS using Expo Push Notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging Navigation using @react-navigation / native Building responsive web-based admin panels (React or similar) Comfortable with role-based dashboard systems Backend & Infrastructure : Experience with Node.js + Express.js Secure API development and token-based authentication MongoDB Atlas with Mongoose for schema validation Integration with Firebase Authentication (including social logins) Knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) Use of middleware like helmet, express-rate-limit, express-validator Security & Compliance : Understanding of HIPAA / PHIPA requirements Familiar with Firebase and MongoDB BAA agreements Encryption standards for data in transit and at rest (TLS, AES-256) Awareness of Canadian data residency (PHIPA-compliant deployment) Dev Tools & Workflow : Comfortable using GitHub for version control Uses Cursor, Windsurf, or VS Code as editor Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (bonus)
