Lead and develop Category Management Managers; optimize team structure and performance.Build and execute client's category growth strategy using DSMP fundamentals.Collaborate with Consumer & Shopper Insights to create insight-driven category plans.Develop 1-, 3-, and 5-year strategic roadmaps for Category Management.Translate insights into actionable selling stories and commercial initiatives.Partner with Field Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing to align KPIs and drive growth.Analyze category, shopper, and competitive data to identify new opportunities.Build strong relationships with retail buyers and category teams.Lead Category & Channel Development to deliver customer-specific strategies.Oversee shelving, assortment, data integration, and category management tools.Support product launches with category-based selling stories.Manage and maximize syndicated data and shopper insight platforms.Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.8-15 years of relevant experience in CPG or retail category management.Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape.Experience leading teams and managing budgets.Proficiency with syndicated data, space management software, and category management tools.Understanding of commercial processes, customer business teams, and best-in-class practices.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
