Job Description

Our client, an established company located in Kitchener, has an opening for a General Accountant to join their team! The General Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting with month-end, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, processing payroll, and more. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to learn and grow within an established organization. They offer a hybrid work model of 2-3 days in the office.

Responsibilities :

Assist with the month-end process

Handle intercompany transactions

Prepare accurate and timely monthly journal entries

Act as backup for AR and AP

Payroll processing including calculating stat pay

Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller

Requirements :

Must have an education in accounting

2+ years of general accounting experience

Desire to learn and grow with a growing company
