Driver – Savers | Value Village

Reports To : Sourcing Operations Manager

Summary : Supports Value Village Stores / Savers vision by operating a 26’ Box Truck to maintain and accomplish a daily delivery and pick‑up truck route to supply the Distribution Center and stores with goods to export as well as pick up GD‑ADS Sites.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge GTA, Ontario, Canada.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Clean CVOR.
• Working knowledge of WHIMS and MTO regulations.
• Demonstrate organization skills.
• Demonstrate customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a 26’ Box Truck with air brakes.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and trailers as needed.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi‑task several incoming and outgoing truck loads at any given time.
• Ability to create driver logs and reports.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multi‑task with minimal direction.
• Ability to be detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work within VVS / Savers culture.
• Ability to follow company policies.
