Bag Machine Operator - rotating shifts - Mississauga

Education

•High School Diploma or GED • 3 years+ experience in printing industry including experience on similar machines preferred • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs • Good mechanical aptitude Duties / Responsibilities

• SHIFT ROTATION: Days (2 weeks), Afternoons (2 weeks), Nights (2 weeks)
• Operator bag converting machines at required dial speeds and working towards achieving daily production targets while preserving quality according to customer specs
• Roll preparation
• Re-web machine
• Machine adjustments
• Adjust slits, adjust / replace tucking blades, adjust and / or replace spots, change coarse / fine knives
• Cut and install correct bottom pasters, maintain glue levels
• Use ShopFloor software, labelling, counting and palletizing
• Machine cleaning
