Description de posteLeading the planning and layout of road and harvest systems Lead all aspects of data management in the field and office Ensure legal, regulatory and client specific requirements are met with deliverables Effective supervision in the field and providing training for all crew members An above and beyond commitment to safety Education in forestry field with a Forestry Tech Diploma or Degree Registered or eligible for registration with ABCFP as RPF or RFT (or working towards) Experience with road and cutblock layout within BC (minimum 4 years) Experience utilizing LiDAR data for planning and locating roads and cutblocks A firm understanding of forest policy, guidelines and BCs regulations Experience in steep slope layout and deflection analysis, SP data collection and drafting, riparian assessments, forest health, surveys.
