Customer Service Representative 26027P Regular Part-Time North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. NVRC offers a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly people to deliver memorable experiences to our customers.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEYou will deliver excellent front line customer experiences by providing information to the public, searching programs, processing registrations, and selling day passes/memberships in person and over the phone, collecting payments and assisting with related administrative responsibilities.

You are courteous and effective with the public in providing information and assistance regarding programs, activities and community events. You enjoy working with a diverse group of people and embrace change and challenges. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSPrevious customer service training, experience, and cash handling experience is desirable. Knowledge of recreation software, and Microsoft business tools (Excel and Word) would also be beneficial.

All employees will be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment.

Comprehensive benefits include dental, extended health, and life insurance coverage, participation in the Municipal Pension Plan upon eligibility, and access to an Employee Family Assistance Program. The pay for this unionized position starts at step 1, $25.22 per hour and ranges up to $29.48 per hour (2024 rates), plus 10% in lieu. 20 hours per week including weekends, days or evenings based on operational needs, with the option to pick up additional shifts.
