Job description
HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Mission Control Associate to ensure trips are running smoothly and safely from the service operations command center.
In this role, you will identify ways to maximize safety and service efficiency, including real-time management of fleet and crew allocation. You will also monitor areas within the vehicle’s operational design domain and put restrictions in place if certain areas should be temporarily avoided (e.g., civic events, signal alerts, or emergency scenes).
The ideal candidate has strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
Available Shifts :
- 10am-6 : 30pm Thursday-Monday
- 5 : 30pm-2am Thursday-Monday
- 5 : 30pm-2am Friday-Tuesday
As a Mission Control Associate, you will :
Support commercial service operations from the service operations command center.Ensure all operational teams are ready for service by completing pre-mission startup checklists.Work cross-functionally to ensure the operation in your market is running smoothly.Be the first stop for basic vehicle troubleshooting.Create and escalate service disruption events via an internal ticketing system.Dispatch fleet response crews in the event a vehicle needs to be recovered and coordinate with other cross-functional teams for updates.Manage market configuration, like setting restricted areas and hours of operation.Assist with documentation and process improvement.Requirements
1+ years multi-channel customer service experience, including working with a ticketing system (e.g. Jira, ZenDesk)Tech-savvy, possessing solid computer literacy / software proficiencyLogistics, fleet ops, and / or dispatch experienceBasic vehicle troubleshooting skillsProactive mindset and resourcefulnessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Autonomous vehicle experiencePrior transportation command center exp (e.g. mass transit agencies, city / regional transportation systems, etc.)Leadership or supervisory experienceBenefits :
