CNC Milling Set-up / Programmer - Aerospace / Day shift

Our client in Etobicoke, an Aerospace / Defense parts manufacturer are looking for a for a CNC Milling Set-up / Programmer This is a permanent full time role on days

Responsibilities :

• Set-up and operate CNC vertical milling machines.
• Program Mills using Mastercam & Winmax
• Use appropriate tools, fixtures and indicators to set up the machine.
• Load, unload, change and modify programs as required.
• Change and set cutting tools.
• Modify and grind tools as required.
• Adjust feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency.
• Operate the machine with all safety precautions in place.
• Deburr and prepare parts for loading and after unloading.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance.
• Read and interpret blue prints.
• Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• All other duties as assigned.
Experience :
• CNC Milling
• Conventional / manual mills and lathes
• 5+ years experience
• Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in CNC machining an asset.
• Fanuc, Haas or Hurco experience an Asset.
• Familiarity with Mastercam preferred.
• Programming experience a major asset
• Previous aerospace experience preferred.
• Previous Job shop experience
