Contract Length : 1 year (maternity leave coverage)

Hours : Full-time (Tuesday to Saturday)

We are currently seeking a full-time Optometric Assistant / Optical Assistant for a 1-year contract to cover a maternity leave. Position

Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in both the clinical and optical retail sides of an eye care practice. The successful candidate will support the optometrist by booking and checking in patients, assisting with frame selection, providing basic lens education, and handling optical dispensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Entering and updating patient information in electronic medical records
• Submitting to OHIP system
• Scheduling appointments and managing phone inquiries
