About the Opportunity

As a Senior Scientist within Evinova’s Endpoints team, you will be a subject matter expert in evidence generation, leading statistical programming to develop and validate existing and novel endpoints that demonstrate patient benefit for innovative medicines and digital health solutions.

You’ll apply quantitative clinical programming for exploratory analytics and psychometrics across biosensor / wearable data and clinical outcome assessments (COAs) to identify and evaluate symptoms, function, health‑related quality of life, and other patient‑centric concepts throughout the drug development lifecycle.

Working across Oncology, Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism, and Respiratory & Immunology, you will build scalable data programming workflows, contribute to robust analysis plans establishing clinical validity, and collaborate closely with Strategy, Data Science, COA Measurement, Product, Global and Clinical Study Teams, and external partners to uphold patient‑centricity, diversity, sustainability, and scientific rigor.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute to workstreams by programming psychometrics, clinometrics and statistics to generate evidence of patients’ experience with treatment throughout the drug development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to workstreams on clinical data flow and management.
  • Conduct and interpret psychometric, clinometric and statistical analyses for the validation of novel endpoints leveraging data from COAs including sensors and wearables.
  • Establish product‑level clinical data management practices and structure, including data flow and standardisation.
  • With supervision, prepare, review and publish data and ensure that clinical validation findings are communicated effectively in scientific reports, internal and conference presentations, publications and regulatory dossiers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus four years practical experience.
  • Advanced degree in a science‑related field (e.g., Ph.D., Sc.D., Dr.P.H.) in biostatistics, statistics, health outcomes research, epidemiology, public health or data science – preferred.
  • Clinical degree (medicine, pharmacy, nursing or equivalent) plus a master’s degree in a related field and one year practical experience.
  • Master’s degree in a related field plus one year practical experience.
  • Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in R, SAS, Python and related tools across diverse settings (life sciences, research, academia, government) with experience interpreting and communicating clinical research evidence.
  • Working knowledge of end‑to‑end drug development processes and decision‑making.
  • Project leadership skills in planning, execution, stakeholder alignment and delivery.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and critical thinking capabilities to solve complex problems.
  • Ownership and accountability; willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Operational efficiency in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments; adaptability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovation mindset – creative, solution‑focused, driving practical, impactful outcomes.

  • Experience with data from multiple sources, including wearables and sensors.
  • Understanding of novel digital development frameworks.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape governing research with human subjects.
  • Experience conducting outcomes research studies and communicating findings.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a programme of concurrent activities.
  • Resilience – ability to overcome and motivate others in a changing environment.

  • Salary and Benefits

    Annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $136,500. Compensation policies allow progression within this range over time. Variable Pay Bonus / Short Term Incentive and eligibility for equity‑based long‑term incentive programs (if applicable) are available, along with a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks paid vacation, and annual Personal Days.
