Job Summary
The Asset Protection Site Manager will be critical of the success of the Asset Protection team at the Lululemon Tilbury distribution center. The Asset Protection Site Manager will develop and execute Security & Risk investigation initiatives that focus on protecting people and assets, maintaining a safe and secure environment for distribution centers, employees and guests, while educating distribution center teams on ways to minimize safety or security related investigation incidents and shrink.
AP Site Manager Roles and Responsibilities
The Asset Protection Site Manager is responsible managing and coordinating daily security activities across the Distribution Centers to ensure a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. This includes conducting and overseeing the training of security personnel, ensuring all staff are well versed in security protocols, emergency procedures, and the use of security equipment. The Asset Protection Site Manager will regularly update training materials and conduct refresher courses to maintain high standards of security awareness among employees.
The Asset Protection Site Manager will also attend and actively participate in leadership meetings, providing insights and updates on security operations, risks, and incident management. This includes collaborating with other departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into broader operational strategies and plans.
Additionally, the Asset Protection Site Manager will be responsible conducting investigations into security incidents such as theft, breaches, and other safety concerns. This includes preparing detailed reports and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage and coordinate daily security activities across the Distribution Centers to ensure a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.
- Conduct and oversee the training of security personnel, ensuring all staff are well versed in security protocols, emergency procedures, and the use of security equipment.
- Regularly update training materials and conduct refresher courses to maintain high standards of security awareness among employees.
- Attend and actively participate in leadership meetings, providing insights and updates on security operations, risks, and incident management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into broader operational strategies and plans.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents such as theft, breaches, and other safety concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences
- Coordinate with law enforcement or external agencies when necessary.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of security technology systems, including
- Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Ensure all security systems are fully operational, regularly updated, and meet the required standards for the facility.
- Monitor and manage the physical security of the facilities, including access control points, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection.
- Regularly inspect and assess the security infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement or upgrades to maintain optimal security levels
Required Skills / Abilities
At least five years’ experience in Retail Loss Prevention, or at least five years’ experience in Distribution Center Operations with demonstrable experience in asset protection and / or risk management.Bachelors’ degree preferred.Security licence Preferred (determining on hiring location, government requirements)Communication Skills – strong ability to tell your story (written and verbally) to powerfully teach others the skills to support our Global Fulfillment Asset Protection strategy.Analytical Skills – ability to identify, document, and create data / powerful metrics involving all Global Fulfillment AP patterns and trends amongst the assigned area.Innovative Thinker – ability to propose new tactics to mitigate theft and get the buy-in from the appropriate business partners.Sound Decision Maker – be agile, balance multiple priorities and make the best decision to support our teams and the business goals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPersonal Traits
