Senior Analyst, Budgets & Forecast Intro :

On behalf of our Client Procom is looking for a Senior Analyst, Budgets & Forecast to play crucial role within the team, focusing on financial reporting of monthly and quarterly forecasts, the annual budget, and the corporate performance scorecard. This role involves the administration of forecast applications and offers exposure to operational and financial plan data across the company's entire portfolio of assets. This is a 6 month contract.

Senior Analyst, Budgets & Forecast Job Details :

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for representing Budgets & Forecast in cross-functional project teams to deliver the annual budget, consolidating and analyzing the annual budget for executive and Board reporting, preparing monthly forecasts and quarterly Board materials, and updating the monthly corporate performance scorecard. Additionally, the role includes administering BPC and Spotfire tools, ensuring efficient and relevant presentation of operational and financial data, and supporting corporate-wide initiatives such as acquisitions, divestments, and strategic planning.

Senior Analyst, Budgets & Forecast Mandatory Skills :

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CFA designation.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, or management and performance reporting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven analytic skills, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Senior Analyst, Budgets & Forecast Desired Skills :

  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Spotfire, and Planning Space.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to engage and influence multi-disciplinary teams, including senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute in a time-constrained environment and drive continuous improvement.

  • This position is hybrid 4 days in office one remote, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
