PURPOSE :

This position will be directly responsible for planning, directing and managing all accounting / finance functions as well as supporting the General Manager. As Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing a company’s accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Strategic Leadership : Ensure company activities with the overall strategy, challenge assumptions, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Operational Insights : Support strategy and cost analysis, access variances, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Management Collaboration : Present financial results to executive teams, discuss concerns, and propose solutions with practical insights.
• Capital Investment : Write Capital investment business cases, monitor capital project spend and savings.
• Financial Expertise : Manage accounting, financial reporting, and operational data analysis, including financial results, projections, and profitability evaluations.
• Product Costing Oversight : Review and improve costing models to determine standard costs, provide costings for new product innovation.
• Projections & Budgeting : Responsible for annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Employee Development : Lead, develop and mentor staff through effective feedback and career progression planning.
