Job Summary

The Engineering Manager leads a team of software engineers responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise applications, including but not limited to ServiceNow and other SaaS or custom-built platforms. This role is accountable for team performance, delivery execution, quality, and operational reliability. The manager builds strong partnerships with Product Managers and stakeholders, provides clear technical direction, and supports a healthy, transparent team culture. They are responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent while helping shape long‑term plans and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

• Builds strong working relationships with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and partner engineering teams
• Communicates risks, dependencies, impacts, and trade‑offs clearly and proactively
• Facilitates open, balanced discussions to resolve conflicts and align on priorities
• Manages stakeholder escalations, ensuring timely resolution or engagement with senior leadership when needed
• Ensures commitments are clearly understood, tracked, and met

Technical Direction

Operations and Reliability

Ensures the team manages L2 / L3 escalations effectively and delivers high‑quality post‑incident learnings

Pay Range (Canada – Toronto Office TRO)

112,000 – 162,000 CAD / Annual

The targeted pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training. The pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
