Press Brake Operator

Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a new opportunity in the metal product fabrication industry?

We are currently seeking two skilled individuals to join our team in Stratford, ON. If you have a keen eye for detail, expertise in metal forming operations, and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!

Location : Stratford, ON

Salary : $24.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Evening

Start date : Starts as soon as possible

Overview

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
• Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
• Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables

Qualifications

Forklift Operator Certification

Experience and specialization :

Equipment and machinery experience : Brakes, Lifting device, Overhead crane, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Metal forming or shaping operations experience : Forming

Handling heavy loads

Physically demanding

Standing for extended periods

Weight handling : Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Own tools / equipment : Steel-toed safety boots
