Summary of Position :

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will assist the Front Office Manager with a multitude of projects as well as manage a small group of staff. You’re passionate about meeting new people and creating memorable experiences for your guests. You have the ability to thrive working in a busy high paced environment, while multi-tasking, and problem solving.

Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, friendly service
  • Answer & appropriately qualify all incoming calls on multi-line telephone system
  • Efficiently & accurately process check ins and check outs
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance
  • Assist in the necessary day to day operations of the Front Office
  • Train new staff , and coach team members to enable them to reach their full potential
  • Resolve customer complaints, and issues in a quick and efficient manner
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers, and liaise with departments such as housekeeping, maintenance and security

    Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience,

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Passion for guest service
  • Must be a team leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be a team oriented & motivated individual
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and Property Management Systems
  • Cash handling and processing experience
  • Knowledge of Victoria and surrounding area and attractions
  • Night audit experience an asset
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • minimum of one year supervisor experience
  • proof of vaccination status required
