JOB SUMMARY

The primary areas of responsibility include health promotion, health education, and community health development. The CHN uses independence and initiative to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate community health services, providing care in accordance with established nursing standards, departmental objectives, and all applicable Acts and Regulations. The CHN ensures that Public Health Nursing services are efficiently coordinated and accessible and actively participates as a team member in delivering quality programs and services.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to the Director of Health. Clinical oversight is provided by the Integrated Care Manager.

CLASSIFICATION / PAY SCALE

$37.00 - $47.00 per hour dependant upon education and experience.
