Job Description

This role involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where tasks and stations change daily. Employees will engage in repetitive tasks using up to 20 different machines, rotating as needed to fulfill orders. Work may involve both the plastic and steel areas of the shop, including deburring steel, moving products, and boxing production. Support for welders and operation of various machines is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines set up by the Charge Hand, placing racks and stepping on foot pedals to operate and weld.
• Feed metal sheets into machines to crimp and create bends, repeating tasks as needed based on order size.
• Set angles and cut metal pipes using a tube cutter machine, repeating tasks according to order requirements.
• Sand edges of metal tubes using a belt sander, repeating tasks as necessary.
• Move parts from welding stations for shipment preparation and support welders.
• Utilize power tools to clean machined parts and move parts around the floor for processing.
• Count products accurately for shipment and assist in assembly by stacking plastic pieces into boxes.

The environment is transit accessible, providing a variety of job opportunities and stability with tenure.

The pay range for this position is $22.42 - $22.42 / hr.
