Job Title : Intermediate Accountant / Bookkeeper

Location : Surrey, B.C Canada (On-site)

Opportunity : Our client is a leading organization helping clients with accounting, tax and advisory services with a focus on family business, professionals, construction, retail and manufacturers.

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Surrey, British Columbia. As an Intermediate Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions and bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, excellent analytical skills, and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities :

• Record and manage all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Generate and maintain financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and general ledgers
• Process payroll, including the calculation of payroll taxes and preparation of T4s
• Process monthly and quarterly GST / HST returns
• Manage the company's cash flow by monitoring and forecasting upcoming expenses and revenue
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the management team
