Part-Time Elementary Teacher / Tutor Wanted

Gain valuable teaching experience! Oxford Learning Burlington South is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed English and math teacher to join our fabulous staff! We're a busy learning centre that is experiencing rapid growth and we must ensure that we have enough teachers to meet this growing demand! A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills :

• Confidence teaching both English and Math curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 8
• Experience in either teaching or tutoring
• Strong English language written and oral communication skills
• Strong ability to organize and multi-task

You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities :

Smiles, High-Fives & Happy Students :

In this position, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem. The rewards of helping children overcome academic hurdles and realize their inner potential can be very fulfilling. You will be rewarded with smiling faces and high-fives during every shift. Interested candidates must be available at least two evenings per week from 3 : 00 pm.

Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Salary : From $19.00 / hour
