- Define and implement QA strategy test approach scope and quality standards for projects/releases.
- Create and oversee test plans test cases regression test suites and traceability matrices.
- Identify risks and dependencies; ensure quality gates are met throughout the SDLC.
- Lead and coordinate an onshore QA team collaborating with offshore QA resources.
- Assign tasks manage team workload and provide mentorship and technical guidance.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning refinement standups and retrospectives.
- Drive execution of functional regression integration and end-to-end testing activities.
- Manage the defect lifecycle ensuring timely root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Perform hands-on testing as needed including API and database validation.
- Ensure compliance with documentation audit and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to enhance automation frameworks and expand test coverage.
- Promote best practices in quality engineering such as shift-left testing and CI/CD quality controls.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
