CH&E Coordinator (Evaluation Specialist) – Education
CAMH is seeking a full‑time, contract CH&E Coordinator (Evaluation Specialist) who will report to the Manager, Education Evaluation & Quality Improvement. The specialist will work independently and with a small team to design, lead and evaluate a variety of educational projects, including needs assessments, process and outcome evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and implement evaluation and quality improvement projects for education and training, including development of logic models, evaluation frameworks, plans, data visualization tools and professional evaluation reports.
- Monitor day‑to‑day aspects of evaluation and quality improvement projects.
- Contribute to the development of RFPs, grants and new project proposals to internal and external parties.
- Engage stakeholders, ensuring their buy‑in and the integrity of evaluation and service data.
- Produce professional reports, papers and presentations (e.g., writing, fact‑checking, editing).
- Prepare evaluation materials such as questionnaires, consent forms and letters for internal initiatives and external revenue‑generating projects.
- Collect data using RedCap and analyze it in R or SPSS.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting for various evaluation projects.
- Review and conduct literature reviews on a regular basis.
- Support programs related to evaluation and quality improvement projects, including assisting with applications to the Research Ethics Board (REB) and QPER (Quality Programs Ethics Review).
- Participate in special projects and committees as assigned by the Manager or Director.
- Develop presentation slide decks or reports to communicate and disseminate evaluation findings.
- Present evaluation findings to stakeholders internally and externally, in collaboration with the Manager or independently when required.
- Work with key stakeholders (clients, families, students, staff, managers, directors) throughout all evaluation phases.
- Perform other evaluation duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least three years of evaluation experience in mental health or health services.Familiarity with online survey applications such as RedCap and experience developing qualitative and quantitative evaluation tools.Experience developing, managing and integrating databases for program‑level evaluations.Knowledge of mental health and addiction services research or evaluation.Experience with Implementation Science frameworks or Quality Improvement models.Demonstrated project coordination and program evaluation experience, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Full fluency with a statistical package among SPSS, R, or Python, and experience with qualitative software such as NVIVO.Strong PC software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) and internet search tools.Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, creative problem‑solving and organizational skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and positions, including leadership.Asset : bilingualism in French and English and experience working with diverse populations.Location : 1025 Queens Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
