Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Construction Coordinator to join our Mining team, based out of Bethune, SK ., mine site is near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating construction execution for surface process construction across multiple expansion and optimization initiatives. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll work directly with field superintendents and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality construction delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist superintendents in day-to-day planning and execution of construction activities across various scopes of work
• Coordinate multiple contractors performing earthwork, civil & structural scope
• Validate field progress by comparing reported progress to physical work in the field and performing variance reviews
• Coordinate material management by validating material reports with the site material team and ensuring visibility through project tools
• Identify field changes in collaboration with superintendents and Field Engineering, initiating variation proposals as needed
• Conduct field inspections with superintendents and Field Engineering representatives, performing hold-point signoffs
• Maintain construction records, including daily progress reports, field notes, and project tracking databases
• Coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPs) and contribute to site-wide traffic management planning
• Support implementation of construction best practices and systematic work planning approaches
