Position: Carpenter Apprentice - K+S Compactor Project Type: Industrial Project Location: Bethune, SK Shift: Day Schedule: 9 days on, 5 days off Accommodations: LOA GC: Graham Allied Partner: JCL Industrial Constructors Inc. Reference Number: 31178 Jardeg is currently recruiting for Carpenter Apprentices to work with JCL Industrial Constructors Inc. for the K+S Compactor project in Bethune, SK! This position is a 9 days on and 5 days off schedule. This position does offer Living out Allowance. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will:

• Assist with building forms for concrete
• Cut, shape, and join
• Look for and fix deficiencies
• Check accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
• Study blueprints for work planning
• Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
• Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
• Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup
• Perform labourer duties when required

Minimum Requirements:

• Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
• Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• CSTS/SCOT and WHMIS certifications
• Confined Space certification
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
