The Opportunity

We are seeking Engineering Coop Student for one of our Scarborough locations.

What youll do

Maintain Transportation and Logistics dashboards reports and data visualizations to support real-time and strategic decisions.

Partner with operations teams to integrate data from Encore / BAAN systems and Descartes (Transportation Management Systems).

Identify inefficiencies in logistics workflows and recommend automation solutions.

Analyze large datasets related to shipments routing and delivery to improve performance metrics load utilization and cost-per-mile.

Maintain data pipelines and ensure the quality and integrity of transportation data.

Support strategic initiatives like network optimization carrier performance analysis and carbon footprint reduction through data insights.

What You Bring

Currently enrolled in one of the following; Engineering Computer Science or related field. Business Analysis is a bonus.

Proficiency data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau or similar).

Experience with Excel VBA macros or other automation tools (e.g. Power Automate).

Familiarity with ETL processes and cloud platforms.

Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualification

Exposure to machine learning or AI tools.
