Job Description
The technical department plays a central role at Armoires Cuisines Action, making an essential contribution to the design of quality products. The Technical Director reports to the President and works closely with the Technical Manager as well as the Technical Supervisors. Flawless collaboration with other sectors of the company is necessary to ensure an exceptional customer experience and achieve company objectives.

Main Tasks
Act as a resource person for the teams under your responsibility, providing guidance and coaching when needed, and distributing tasks according to company goals and requirements
Coordinate the company’s technical activities and participate in the management of daily administrative tasks, as well as the development and enforcement of standardized policies and procedures
Be able to design cabinet concepts in line with clients’ specific requests and measurement reports provided by the sales team, while complying with production standards
Participate in managing the technical team and the distribution team by ensuring compliance with company standards and policies, conducting employee evaluations, and overseeing training and professional development
Collaborate with the Customer Support department to resolve post-sale client issues and ensure proper follow-up of services provided
Maintain smooth communication with the production department to ensure seamless project execution
Monitor team performance variation (CVP) to detect gaps versus objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and propose corrective solutions
Maintain accuracy of data tables, including verifying the compliance of team entries
Actively contribute to continuous improvement by proposing innovative solutions
Support the company’s business plan in achieving its objectives
Contribute to maintaining a respectful, positive, and value-driven work environment by fostering collaboration and mutual support among colleagues
Perform any other tasks directly related to the position
Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent training (asset)
College diploma (DEC) in design or equivalent training
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position
Proficiency with commonly used computer systems (Office Suite)
Proficiency with 3D software tools (Cabinet Vision)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good knowledge of interior layout and design trends
Good knowledge of the construction and cabinetry field
Good knowledge of materials and cabinet-related standards
Knowledge of safety processes, compliance standards, and company policies
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong skills in both French and English
