Full-time perm : Technical Trainer and Operational Enablement Lead
GemTek Recruiting is partnering with an elite, global technology organization to hire a Technical Trainer and Operational Enablement Lead. This role is responsible for building and institutionalizing operational training, documentation, and workflows to ensure operational teams are fully prepared, certified, and execution ready as systems scale.
Location
- On-site in Gatineau, QC
- Temporary work location in Ottawa, ON during transition
- On site presence required starting 2026
Required Experience
Post secondary education in telecommunications, network engineering, technical communications, or related field5+ years of experience in technical documentation, training, or operational enablement within complex technical environmentsExperience working with cross functional operations, engineering, and project teamsStrong documentation and communication skillsProficiency with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, and MS OfficeBilingual English and French preferredKey Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and operational workflowsDesign role based training programs, onboarding materials, and certification contentCreate and manage a centralized operational knowledge baseAdapt vendor training and deliver Train the Trainer programsSupport operational readiness, testing feedback, and continuous improvementAlign training delivery with system activation and operational ramp-up milestonesTrack training completion and baseline competency requirementsDevelop incident response and escalation playbooksWhy This Role
