Android Developer - Java/Android Studio – Job Description
Working with Business lines, the project is to provide the ability for Mobile users to block text messages/screen out spam being sent across business lines & internal teams who should not be communicating together, but do have interactions with clients
On iOS, apps can register as a Call Identification & Blocking extension using the CallKit framework
To protect user’s privacy, these apps do not receive information about incoming calls. Instead, the app provides the system with a list of phone numbers to block or identify, and then the system uses that information going
Take code to production and ensure excellent performance and reliability
Support services prior to go live through various activities such as capacity planning, monitoring setup, logging and production readiness reviews
Troubleshoot production incidents and practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems
Develop effective tooling, alerts, and automated responses to identify and address reliability risks
Steadily improve performance, availability, and security (site reliability) through active analysis and design of production systems
Optimize infrastructure utilization and cost
Conduct in-depth data analysis to gauge service trends and drive improvements
Develop and manage service health dashboards
Android Developer - Java/Android Studio – Mandatory Skills
5-9 years of relevant experience developing for Android using Java
Well versed with Android Studio
Experience on large projects or programs interfacing with multiple applications and/or third-parties in a senior technical role
Broad programming ability for both ‘back-end’ and ‘front-end’ applications; including languages appropriate for natural language processing and unstructured data mining (e.g., Python, Java)
Experience designing and building user interfaces for both Phones and Tablets
Android Developer - Java/Android Studio - Nice to Have Skills
Building user interfaces (e.g., Swift, HTML5) is a bonus
Experience in a banking environment bonus
