Description de posteHandling formation and governance matters for corporations and partnerships (including not-for-profits) Preparing documentation for commercial transactions such as ownership changes, M&A, joint ventures, amalgamations, reorganizations, and dissolutions Conducting due diligence reviews of corporate records and preparing rectification resolutions Performing BC Online and public record searches and preparing due diligence summaries Coordinating execution of documents via DocuSign, handling closings, and preparing digital closing books (including use of Closing Folders) Supporting lawyers on large-scale projects and transactions Providing coverage for other paralegals when needed Formatting correspondence, agreements, reports, forms, and spreadsheets Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal in a law firm environment Completion of an accredited Paralegal program Ability to manage files from start to finish with minimal supervision Strong technical skills with legal applications including ALF, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Workshare Compare, BC Online, DocuSign, MyLTSA (experience with PC Law or iManage considered an asset) Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative “team player” mindset Client-focused approach with professionalism, tact, and good judgment Extended health, dental, and paramedical coverage Fitness reimbursement Bonus program based on performance and contributions Employee referral program Regular firm-wide social events (formal and informal) Hybrid work environment with reasonable flexibility Salary range : $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience

CA$75,000.00 / yr - CA$90,000.00 / yr

This position is a full-time, hybrid role offering competitive compensation, flexibility, and opportunities to work on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
Responsibilities
Corporate Records Work
- Maintaining physical and digital corporate records books and client files (BC, federal, and extra provincial registrations)
- Preparing forms and documents from precedents and templates
- Assisting with digitization of company records into virtual minute books
- Maintaining / updating the ALF Corporate Records Database
- Coordinating outgoing document packages and records books by courier
- Communicating directly with clients as required
