This professional must be a solution provider in a fast-paced environment that is committed to providing a positive experience for our customers.
Position Summary :
This position will process incoming orders and interact with external customers via email and phone to provide superior level of service. This position will also interact with various internal customers, including technical services, marketing, finance, sales and operations to assist in delivering positive outcomes for the customer and Allegion.
What You Will Do :
Process all incoming orders from Canada customers, via email / fax and EDI big box stores. Often Communicate directly with customers via phone, e-mail, fax or mail to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and inquiries on their orders regarding products, pricing, order fulfillment, customer programs, and corporate policies.
Modify customer orders in the business operating system.
Act as consultant to advise basic product application.
Represent the organization daily through customer contact and relationship-building.
Monitor customer accounts daily to proactively avoid customer issues.
Work with internal departments to enable accurate account management and resolution of customer issues.
Gather information for measurement, analysis and reporting.
Make all necessary entries in the business systems to support company processes.
Meet all service level agreements as set by management.
Adhere to all Allegion Canada Inc. policies and procedures including Health and Safety.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Be able to do overtime on occasion
What You Need to Succeed :
Ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, visitors and employees.
Must be detail oriented
Ability to learn / grasp complex a large variety of product offerings
Experience working in a large matrix organization
Understand basic customer needs and expectations to provide timely and accurate resolution to requests.
Ability to effectively communicate solutions to customers in ways they can understand and implement.
Self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to apply problem solving techniques.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing operating systems (AS400) is an asset.
Team player
Ability to travel 25% for training purposes
Education
Post-Secondary Education preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual (French / English) an asset
Experience
Minimum 2 years related customer service required / industry experience required.
Order Entry experience (manual, EDI).

Compensation : This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Total Compensation Range : $50,000-$65,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
